WHAT HAS HAPPENED? 

After careful consideration and deliberation, we have decided to end the development of Nine to Five. 
This decision was not an easy one, but it was vital for the future of our team and our company. Furthermore, from this moment onwards, we will turn our attention away from developing our own titles and focus on working with other game developers on co-developing their projects.

WHY STOP THE DEVELOPMENT OF A GAME WITH AN ACTIVE COMMUNITY? 

We realize that many people are passionate about Nine to Five and wish to see the game develop, grow, and succeed. However, we cannot give you regular updates, new content, and more people to play with, so our most difficult decision is also for the community. We want to be transparent and respect your trust. 
We are grateful for your enthusiasm, patience, support, and especially the time you dedicated to our game — it was very special to us. 

WILL THERE BE ANY UPDATES, BUG FIXES, AND NEW CONTENT?

We will not be making any updates or adding any new content to Nine to Five, so we can put all our efforts towards co-development and working with other studios.

WILL GAME SERVERS STAY OPEN?

The servers will remain open until January 18, 2023. Our Support will also be available until the closure of our game servers.

WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO MY ITEMS AND PROGRESSION?

Unfortunately, all player data, including player profiles, in-game progression, and purchased items, will be lost after the closure of game servers.

WILL I GET A REFUND FOR MY IN-GAME PURCHASES?

We will refund any purchases made from October 1, 2022. Please, apply for a refund via this form: https://forms.office.com/r/KHWvcYZUmb
We will also send a complimentary bundle of weapons, armor, and cosmetics to everyone who has ever purchased Platinum from the Nine to Five Marketplace.

WHY DO YOU KEEP THE MARKETPLACE OPEN?

We will keep the in-game Marketplace open until the very end, but we will disable the option to purchase Platinum and make all premium skins and bundles free.

I AM A NEW PLAYER, WHY CANNOT I PLAY THE GAME?

As we retire Nine to Five, it will be removed from listings in the Steam store, and new players won’t be able access it.

Nine to Five will remain in players’ Steam libraries, and they will be able to download, install, and launch the game. The Steam Community also remains visible and accessible for players to post and share.

WHAT WILL HAPPEN WITH NINE TO FIVE COMMUNITIES ON DISCORD, REDDIT, AND SOCIAL MEDIA?

We take pride in the devoted and caring communities Nine to Five has brought together. Many of us have spent hours chatting and lurking among some of the best people and the best players on Discord. Sadly, current circumstances do not allow us to dedicate any time or resources to moderate and manage the Nine to Five community. Therefore, our Discord server, website, and social media will be closed at the closure of our game servers on January 18, 2023.

WHAT DOES IT MEAN FOR REDHILL GAMES?

Since we have decided to seize any further development of our own titles, we will solely focus on co-development with other studios.
Our team composition will not change, and we are not going to lay off anybody. On the contrary, we will continue to hire and grow.
